Who doesn't love a lady who can look hot on the hood of a classic car and then pop it open to fix what's underneath? Roller derby girls are known for their perfect mix of pretty and power, sex appeal and strong arm, beauty and brute force. 

Deadly Rival Roller Derby is introducing two new teams this season. In preparation for the inaugural bout this Sunday, the Hot Rod Hotties hopped into checkered skirts, lathered on red lipstick, and looked stunning for a photo shoot with Leigh Armstrong at Biff Burger.

As Pinellas County Florida's largest roller derby league, DRRD is made up of veteran skaters, skaters with a few bouts under their belts, and fresh meat, which are girls brand new to the sport. For the 2012 season, the Hot Rod Hotties will battle the Cat-O-StrophiX for the championship trophy.
