Winnie Cooper of The Wonder Years wasn't only wise on the show. She was super smart as the real life Danica McKellar who graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Mathematics.

This week Danica is making the morning talk show rounds to promote her latest book Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape. This is the fourth book in her series of tomes that teach math lessons in the style of a teen magazine. 

With titillating titles like Kiss My Math and Hot X: Algebra Exposed, the books became an instant success. 

"Getting emails from the readers - especially from girls who are feeling confident in math for the first time - is my favorite part of being an author," she says. "I know I'm making a difference and I'm so grateful to be having this experience!"
