They are serious athletes with seriously sexy attitudes, wearing black zippered Dickies®-style mini-dresses, purple fishnets, and scuffed-up skates.

As one of the new teams presented by Deadly Rival Roller Derby this year, the Cats are poised to pounce on the Hot Rod Hotties at the season opening bout this Sunday. Photographer Minh Insixiangmy met up with the ladies in dimly lit alleyways for these powerful promo shots.

DRRD is Pinellas County Florida's largest roller derby league and the Cat-O-StrophiX have a cool combination of seasoned pros and anxious amateurs. While cats are solitary hunters, this team of fierce felines work together to overpower the pack on the track.
