Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli earned the top spot on Maxim’s Hot 100 list. The 26-year-old beauty was thrilled by the honor and is grateful for each and every vote she received.

"I am shocked that among all these beautiful ladies, I'm No. 1," Bar said of her win. "Thank you so much for voting for me! I'm truly honored. This is a title I will never forget.”

Born in the small city of Hod HaSharon, Israel, Bar began modeling as an infant and won Israel’s “Model of the Year” competition at the age of 15. Refaeli, whose mother was also a successful model, has since appeared in a number of magazines, including Elle, Maxim, GQ, FHM, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. In 2009, the young stunner was the SI Swimsuit cover girl. Bar Refaeli has also been featured in advertisements for Southwest Airlines, Rampage, Subaru, Accessorize, and many others.

“God bless America, God bless the Maxim man, and God bless Israel for being the fertile soil from which such hotness grows,” Maxim says of their number one hottie.
